We use your information for three things and three things only:

• Communication: Sending you your "early access" invite and occasional project updates.
• Authentication: Letting you log in once the beta goes live.
• Improvement: Analyzing aggregate (non-identifiable) data to see how many people are excited about Our Project in different regions.

4. What We Don’t Do

• No Selling: We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address to third-party marketers. That’s a "shady fox" move, and we aren't about that.
• No Spam: We won’t clutter your inbox. You’ll only hear from us when it’s worth a hop.

5. Data Security

Your data is stored in secure databases managed through our hosting provider. While no system is 100% impenetrable, we use standard security practices to help keep your information safe from unauthorized access.

6. Your Rights & "The Exit"

You are in total control of your data. At any time, you can:

• Request Access: Ask us what data we have on you.
• Unsubscribe: Click the link at the bottom of any email to stop receiving updates.
• Delete Everything: Contact us at contact@trailhop.app with the subject line "Delete My Data," and we will wipe your record from our database as soon as reasonably possible.

As this project grows from a waitlist into a full-scale app, this policy will evolve. Please note that when the platform officially launches, full registration will be subject to a new, comprehensive set of Terms of Use and an updated Privacy Policy.
